A shower is a long, slow afternoon — and it needs a room that can hold one. Arboretum gives you table space, daylight, and somewhere to put the gifts, four blocks from the Oceanfront.
The Room
Room to make a fuss
A bridal shower runs on three things: light, table space, and somewhere to put the gifts. Arboretum has all of them in one open room — big windows through the first half of the afternoon, light you can dim if it runs long, and a floor plan you set rather than inherit from whoever booked before you.
The room arrives as a neutral shell. Whatever palette has been settled on in the group chat — sage and cream, dusty blue, all white — the walls won’t argue with it. Bring your own florals, linens, and signage, or the vendors you already have lined up.
How the room is set
- Tables
- Long banquet tables for a seated lunch, or scattered rounds if you would rather people move around. A separate table for gifts, the cake, or a favour display.
- Light
- Big windows through the afternoon, dimmable as the day goes on. Good for photographs without anybody holding up a ring light.
- Styling
- A quiet, neutral shell. Your florist, your baker, your signage — or the vendors you already love.

Arboretum shares Laskin Road with two restaurants under the same roof of hospitality. Book the room and you can bring their kitchens with it — one point of contact, menus built for your headcount, and food that arrives hot from a few doors down. Working with an outside caterer instead is welcome too; we’ll share the prep space and house rules on your tour.

Can we bring our own cake and florist?
Yes. The room is a neutral shell built to take your styling — your baker, your florist, your linens and signage. If you would rather not manage vendors at all, the kitchens next door can cover the food and we will talk through the rest on your tour.
Is there space for gifts and a gift-opening moment?
Yes. The floor plan is yours to set, so a gift table and a chair for the bride can go wherever the light is best. We walk through layouts on your tour.
Where do guests park?
A public parking garage on 32nd Street sits directly behind the building — a short walk even for guests arriving with their arms full.
Can out-of-town guests walk over?
Yes. Arboretum is on Laskin Road near the north end of the Boardwalk, walkable from the beach and the 31st Street hotels, so a visiting bridal party can leave the cars where they are.
How many people can we invite?
It depends how you set the room, since a seated lunch and a standing shower fit different numbers. Send your headcount with your inquiry and we will confirm the layout works, then walk the exact capacity on your tour.
